Today the color purple is my happy thought because it's my daughter's favorite color.
We're moving into a new house (well, new to us anyway...) and I've been collecting thoughts in my head of how to make her room something really special. I'm way more of a "do something daring in a throw pillow" than I am a "paint the whole room a shocking color" type of girl. I love these ideas and even though the walls in this room are painted Lavender, I like the vintage, homey, workable feel of this. I mean, seriously, my kid's rooms are not perfect and they have to be livable. And I thought this was a great idea to use up my Grandmother's old silverware that I rescued.
